This Ticket evidences a revocable license (“License”) to attend the event (“Event” or “Competition”) described on the face hereof, and may be revoked at any time for any reason. The promoter and sponsoring organization (“Promoter”) of the Event retains outright ownership of this Ticket. Possession of this Ticket is being temporarily provided to the holder (“Holder”) on his/her own behalf and on behalf of any minor accompanying Holder to the Event (“Minors”) to merely serve as evidence of the existence of the License. By accepting physical possession of the Ticket and/or entering the grounds of the Event, Holder agrees to the terms and conditions contained herein.
Keep Ticket with you at all times. Competition fields, times, and schedules subject to change at the discretion of management or due to injury or other unforeseen circumstances. NO REFUNDS: No refunds will be issued for any reason other than cancellation of the event. Refunds will not be issued for the following: Incidence of lost, forgotten, unused or surplus General Admission Tickets, Reserved Seating Tickets, Club Passes, Hospitality Passes, or any other ticket offerings by Promoter. Each Ticket to the Event is a License granted by the Promoter to attend the Event listed on the applicable Ticket. The Promoter reserves the right to terminate the License granted by the Ticket and/or those of Minor(s) prior to the time the Event actually takes place by tendering to Holder the purchase price printed on the Ticket and/or those of Minor(s). Further, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without refund of any portion of the purchase price, to revoke License granted and refuse admission or eject any person (a) who violates the terms of the License; (b) who appears to be or is intoxicated; (c) whose conduct is deemed by it to be improper, disorderly or unbecoming; (d) who uses vulgar, derogatory or abusive language; or (e) who, in the sole judgment of the Promoter, is engaging in activity or causing a disturbance prohibiting attendees at the Event from enjoying the Event. In such event, Promoter may also permanently ban any such individual from future Events and/or any other events managed and/or conducted by Promoter or its affiliated entities.
This Ticket may not be resold or offered for resale in a manner or at a price in violation of any Federal, State, or local law or regulation. RESALE OF THIS TICKET AT A PRICE GREATER THAN THE FACE VALUE IS ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED. Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources may be lost, stolen or counterfeit and if so, are void. No refunds shall be issued for any reason whatsoever. This Ticket may not be used for advertising, promotion (including contests and sweepstakes) or other trade purposes without expressed written consent of the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to prohibit any protests, demonstrations or vigils of any nature on its premises during the Event. Holder grants permission to Promoter (and its designees and assignees), without paying any compensation to Holder or other individual or entity, the worldwide right to utilize Holder’s image, likeness, name, voice, comments and/or other proprietary or public rights and/or those of Minor(s) in any live or recorded broadcast, telecast, photograph, video, audio, audiovisual and/or other recording taken in connection with or incidental to the Event or other transmission, distribution, public performance, or reproduction in whole or in part of the Event, for all purposes, worldwide, in perpetuity, and in any and all media now or hereafter known, without compensation. The rights granted herein are assignable. Holder agrees not to transmit or facilitate transmission of any account, description, picture or reproduction of the Event without the specific advance written permission of the Promoter.
Holder is subject to the rules and policies of the Promoter and the Released Parties (as defined herein), and Holder (i) consents to allowing the Promoter or its designated agents to inspect Holder’s and/or Minor(s)’ person and/or any bags, clothing, or other articles for security purposes, whether by walk-through metal detection, handheld metal detection, bag checks or otherwise, and (ii) acknowledges and agrees that Holder and/or Minor(s) may be denied entry to or ejected from the Event if Holder and/or Minor(s) is/are in possession of any item or object that the Promoter considers potentially dangerous, hazardous, inappropriate and/or injurious to other patrons, and any prohibited items may be confiscated. Holder consents to security searches and/or screening of Holder and/or Minor(s) and waives any claims that Holder and/or Minor(s) might have against the Released Parties. Holder acknowledges that the Promoter has no liability for Holder’s and/or Minor(s)’ person or property.
Holder agrees not to seek autographs of athletes in order to sell such autographs, and Holder shall not pay another person to obtain an autograph for Holder. Holder agrees not to transmit or aid in transmitting any description, account, picture or reproduction of the Event in any media whether known or unknown. Photography or reproduction of any kind of the Event in any manner is strictly prohibited.
Holder agrees to follow all rules and regulations of the Event, and such rules and regulations are subject to change at any time by the Promoter. Promoter reserves the right to revoke this Ticket and License, and cancel all privileges associated thereto. It is unlawful to reproduce this Ticket.
Holder recognizes that attendance of Holder and Minor(s) at the Event is voluntary and may result in personal injury (including death) and/or property damage and agrees to stay alert and remain aware of his/her surroundings and the surroundings of Minor(s). By attending, observing or participating in the Event, Holder acknowledges and assumes all risks and dangers incidental to the Event (and/or connected to the Event whatsoever) associated with Holder and/or Minor(s) (i) being a spectator before, during, and after the Event (including but not limited to all warm-ups, practices, pre-competition, post-competition and promotions) and/or (ii) attending, observing or participating in the Event, in each case, whether any such risk or danger occurs prior to, during or subsequent thereto including any acts, omissions, incidents or accidents associated with any third party or the negligence or misconduct of other spectators. These assumed risks include all risks associated and/or connected with attending an equine event, as well as any and all risks associated with an entertainment event, generally.
Holder agrees that (a) the Promoter (b) the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (c) Fair Hill International, (d) each Governing Body or Federation (e) any other local or state governmental body associated with the facility or the Event and (e) all athletes participating in the Event and (d) all past, present and future parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, successors, assigns, employees, partners, members, directors, officers, owners, agents, representatives and independent contractors of such entities (subsections (a) through (d), collectively, the “Released Parties“), will not be responsible for any personal injury (including death), property damage, or other loss suffered as a result of Holder’s and/or Minor(s)’ participation in, attendance at, and/or observation of the Event and/or the negligence of any of the Released Parties (collectively, the “Released Claims“). Holder hereby releases, forever discharges, and covenants not to sue the Released Parties from and against any and all Released Claims and/or any other claims which Holder and/or Minor(s) has or may have for invasion of privacy, defamation, violation of any right of publicity, right of privacy or any other cause of action arising out of the production, reproduction, distribution, transmission, publication, public performance, broadcast or exhibition of advertisements, promotions, content, programs and/or materials in which recordings or photographs of Holder or Minor(s) from the Event appear.
BY ATTENDING AND/OR PARTICIPATING IN THE EVENT, HOLDER, ON HIS/HER
OWN BEHALF AND ON BEHALF OF MINOR(S), IS DEEMED TO HAVE GIVEN A FULL RELEASE OF LIABILITY TO THE RELEASED PARTIES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
IF MINOR(S) IS/ARE ACCOMPANYING HOLDER TO THE EVENT, HOLDER IS DEEMED TO HAVE GIVEN ALL OF THE FOREGOING GRANTS OF RIGHTS, RELEASES AND WAIVERS ON BEHALF OF SUCH MINOR(S) AS THEIR PARENT OR GUARDIAN OR AS THE AUTHORIZED AGENT OF THEIR PARENT OR GUARDIAN. IF HOLDER DOES NOT WISH TO OR IS NOT AUTHORIZED TO GRANT SUCH RIGHTS, RELEASES AND WAIVERS ON BEHALF OF THE ACCOMPANIED MINOR(S), HOLDER SHOULD IMMEDIATELY LEAVE THE EVENT WITH THE MINOR(S).
Holder will indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all demands, suits, claims, costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses), expenses and liability arising out of, incidental to or related in any way to (i) Holder’s and/or Minor(s)’ attendance at, observation of, and/or participation in the Event, (ii) Holder’s and/or Minor(s)’ acts or omissions, or (iii) Holder’s breach of any of the terms, conditions or representations made in the License.
For health and safety reasons as well as to lessen our environmental impact, the Maryland 5 Star encourages going paperless. All tickets and passes will be issued in a digital format. Please be sure to bring your fully charged mobile device with you for admission. If preferred, tickets can be printed at home and brought to the event for admission. Depending on purchase, some physical credentials may be issued prior to the event.
General Admission is free for children ages 10 and under when accompanied by an adult. If wishing to enter the grandstands of the Main Arena, children do require the purchase of a Reserved Seat Ticket, Club or Hospitality Pass (*children 2 and under do not require purchase of additional ticketing, so long as they can share a seat with an adult with a valid ticket/pass).
A discount for active duty military, retired military and DOD Employees will be offered off of Single Day General Admission Tickets. If purchasing a Military Discount Ticket, please be prepared to show active military ID, military retiree ID or civilian identification badge at the venue entrance upon arrival.
When purchasing a Reserved Seat Ticket or VIP Hospitality Pass, you do not need to also purchase a General Admission ticket for the given day(s).
All event attendees must purchase Single-Day General Admission (GA) Ticket(s), Multi-Day GA Pass(es), Reserved Seat Ticket(s) or Hospitality Pass(es) for each day they plan to attend the event.
When purchasing a Reserved Seat Ticket or VIP Hospitality Pass, you do not need to also purchase a General Admission ticket for the given day(s).
If you’ve purchased a ticket or pass into a reserved area (Tier 2 Grandstand, Tier 2 Club, Tier 1 VIP) please respect your fellow ticket buyers and sit in your assigned seats. Seat assignments will be enforced.
GA includes first-come first-serve seating in the North Aintree Grandstand and unlimited access to the infield, curated Retail Vendor Areas, on-site fan activations, a wide variety of food and beverage offerings, and first-come-first-serve seating in the North Aintree Grandstand. ATMs will be available on-site for cash withdrawals to be used for purchases made at the events Retail Vendor Area and other designated areas. ATM fees apply.

Single Day General Admission Tickets, Reserved Seat Tickets and certain Multi-Day General Admission Passes will be available for purchase at the Box Office but are subject to availability. Group General Admission Passes and Club/Hospitality Passes will NOT be available for purchase at the Box Office.
Advanced purchases are highly encouraged.
Tickets sold at the Box Office will be paperless, and sent directly to a mobile device. Credit card and cash payments at the Box Office ONLY, check will not be accepted.
ATM’s will be available on-site for cash withdrawals.
Tickets are only valid for use by a single individual in a day.However, individual tickets by day that are part of a multi-day pass can be used by different individuals on different days if desired. Multi-day passes are not name specific. If for some reason you are unable to attend the event after purchasing a ticket, if you choose to give the ticket to someone else, the ticket will be valid for that person to use. Tickets can be forwarded via email.

We strongly encourage those requiring accessible seating to call the Ticket Office as soon as possible to make seating arrangements and ensure proper accommodations. Available inventory of accessible seating can not be guaranteed for purchase at the Box-Office during the event.
Reentry into the venue within the same day is permitted but discouraged. If reentering the venue, please be prepared to show proof of prior admittance with valid handstamp.
The Event Box Office can reissue e-tickets with the same barcode during the event for tickets that are lost.
Gates Open – open one (1) hour prior to the start of competition on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and two (2) hours prior to the start of competition on Sunday
Gates Close – thirty (30) minutes post the end of daily competition daily
Vendor Village – all vendors will be open daily by the start of competition and will close thirty (30) minutes post the end of competition
Hospitality Areas – open daily thirty (30) minutes prior to the start of competition and close thirty (30) minutes post the end of competition

WHEN APPROACHING THE FAIR HILL NATURAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AREA & THE FAIR HILL SPECIAL EVENT ZONE, PLEASE DISPLAY THIS PASS ON YOUR DASHBOARD WITH YOUR DESIGNATED PARKING AREA FACING UP TOWARD THE WINDSHIELD AND/OR PRESENT IN CLEAR VIEW FOR TRAFFIC OFFICERS AND PARKING STAFF. UPON ARRIVING AT YOUR DESIGNATED PARKING AREA, PLEASE PRESENT THIS PASS TO THE PARKING ATTENDANT.
This pass allows the vehicle to enter the event designated parking area for the sole purpose of permitting the occupant to attend the event competition day shown on this pass for which the occupant must have tickets or credentials. Space in this parking area is NOT guaranteed. Upon entering, you will be directed to an area where you may leave the vehicle.
You shall maintain a safe distance from all pedestrians, horses and other vehicles at all times and stay within all designated speed limits and/or as directed by parking staff and traffic officers. Parking staff, traffic officers and/or event officials reserve the right to implement any additional safety measures deemed necessary.
You may not display commercial signage and/or commercial markings on or around the vehicle in the parking area. You may not use this pass or enter the parking area for any commercial or trade purposes (including, without limitation, advertising, promotions, contests, sweepstakes and/or giveaways).
Please remove personal property, lock the vehicle and take your keys. Exit the property upon completion of the day of competition. We/the event, or the venue are not responsible for personal property or any loss of or damage to the vehicle; this is not a bailment. This pass may not be resold/transferred. We/the event, and the venue reserves the right to revoke this pass.
